World Hepatitis Day 2018

Nearly 290 million of people are living with Hepatitis without knowing(1).

Tomorrow, let’s take advantage of the World Hepatitis Day to inform people around us.

Hepatitis is a potentially life-threatening viral disease that can lead to cirrhosis and primary liver cancer(2). Early diagnosis can prevent health problems that may results from infection and prevent transmission of the virus. Quantification of the nucleic acid allows an estimation of infectivity and the likelihood of progression to severe chronic disease and helps to monitor the success of treatment(3).
